Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Tallinn, Estonia; hybrid with at least 12 monthly in-office days

What you will do

• Autonomously lead large technical and product roadmap initiatives across team boundaries.
• Design and build systems for the merchant domain, breaking complex work into clear components.
• Develop distributed backend systems or frontend experiences with React and React Native.
• Apply product thinking to technical decisions and challenge what is being built when needed.
• Use AI daily and help the team develop an AI-native way of working.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders across teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience owning and independently delivering large, cross-team initiatives.
• Deep expertise in either backend distributed systems or frontend development with React and React Native.
• Strong product thinking and the ability to evaluate and challenge product decisions.
• Daily experience using AI tools and the ability to help others adopt them.
• Excellent internal communication skills.
