TL;DR
Motion Design Lead (Motion Design/Video): Creating and delivering campaign concepts, visual identities, motion graphics, and edited video while leading designers and maintaining brand consistency across client work with an accent on hands-on craft, art direction, and motion principles. Focus on coaching and line managing designers, building creative processes, hiring team members, and raising the quality of client deliverables across EMEA.
Location: Based in Hungary; hybrid working policy. GMT working hours are 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, and matching UK working hours is welcomed.

What you will do
- Create and execute campaign work from concept and look and feel through final delivery.
- Work hands-on across art direction, graphic design, motion, animation, and video editing.
- Generate creative concepts across formats and platforms, including global campaigns, while maintaining client brand consistency.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and line manage designers through one-to-ones, goals, feedback, and development conversations.
- Review work, provide craft guidance, define motion principles, and improve design quality and team processes.
- Support hiring and onboarding, collaborate across disciplines, and present work to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in a senior design role within the creative industry.
- Experience leading and line managing designers, including one-to-ones, feedback, and performance and development conversations.
- Experience participating in hiring through interviewing, portfolio assessment, and hiring recommendations.
- Design background with the ability to work confidently hands-on alongside the team.
- Strong motion design and video editing skills in After Effects and Premiere Pro, plus video production and post-production experience.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Outstanding showreel and/or portfolio.
- Strong aesthetic skills, graphic design principles, visual attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication, including client presentations.
- Excellent organisation and time management, ability to stay focused under pressure, and willingness to learn new formats.
