QA Tester (AI)

Location: Remote, with an option to work abroad through the work abroad scheme.

What you will do

• Review user stories and acceptance criteria, identifying gaps and edge cases before development.
• Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and checklists for new features.
• Perform manual functional, exploratory, regression, smoke, cross-browser, and device testing across web and mobile products.
• Document defects with reproduction steps, evidence, and severity, then track them through resolution.
• Verify fixes and support release and post-release production checks, including go/no-go assessments.
• Improve QA processes, documentation, and test data management while sharing product knowledge with the wider team and Customer Success.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on commercial experience testing web or mobile software.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing fundamentals, including test types, test design techniques, and the defect life cycle.
• Experience writing test cases and raising well-documented bugs.
• Familiarity with issue trackers and test management tools.
• Methodical, curious approach with strong attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
• Experience leveraging AI to streamline and automate testing.
• Work within Agile sprints as part of a cross-functional product squad.

Nice to have

• Some experience with test automation.
• Basic SQL for checking and preparing test data.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and version control with Git.
• Awareness of accessibility, performance, or security testing.
• Experience testing B2B SaaS or multi-tenant platforms.
