Company

hirify.global is a U.S. healthcare and health insurance company serving people through insurance and healthcare services.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, deploy, and operate full-stack AI applications, including frontend experiences, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines.
  • Build LLM workflows for extraction, classification, retrieval, summarization, agentic processes, structured outputs, tool calling, and fallback handling.
  • Develop RAG systems using embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, OCR, document ingestion, metadata extraction, indexing, and search.
  • Create evaluation frameworks with benchmark datasets, regression testing, quality metrics, model monitoring, and human-in-the-loop review workflows.
  • Optimize production systems for accuracy, latency, reliability, scalability, and cost while implementing observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response.
  • Deploy cloud-native services with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure tooling while collaborating with product, engineering, clinical, and operational stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, another related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
  • Experience with backend services, APIs, distributed systems, or data-intensive applications.
  • Production experience integrating LLMs beyond simple chat interfaces, including structured outputs, tool calling, RAG, agents, or multi-step workflows.
  • Experience with at least one major AI platform or model provider, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Azure AI, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience debugging, monitoring, and supporting production applications used by real customers.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and own projects from concept through deployment.

Nice to have

  • Experience building AI systems where LLMs are part of a critical production workflow.
  • Experience with evaluation frameworks, testing strategies, prompt versioning, tracing, and model performance monitoring.
  • Experience with agentic architecture, Model Context Protocol, tool orchestration frameworks, or autonomous workflows.
  • Experience with React, Next.js, modern frontend development, and full-stack architecture.
  • Experience operating workloads with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud environments, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience in regulated healthcare, financial services, or government environments, including privacy, compliance, governance, and data protection.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools and strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid work schedule with a 40-hour work week.
  • Work in a regulated healthcare environment where sensitive and protected data must be handled responsibly.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, parental and caregiver leave, disability coverage, and life insurance.
  • Work on AI systems designed to be accurate, traceable, trustworthy, and impactful for healthcare users.
