UX/UI Designer (AI)

Location: Leiria, Portugal; based at the headquarters with hybrid work offered.

What you will do

• Design well-defined product features from requirements through delivery in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design.
• Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs in Figma for responsive web and mobile experiences.
• Translate industrial workflows and factory user needs into clear, accessible interfaces.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions, applying findings to improve designs.
• Collaborate with developers on technical constraints, design intent, implementation reviews, and reusable design-system components.
• Present design decisions, participate in reviews, incorporate feedback, and develop broader product-design ownership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI, product design, or interaction design for digital products.
• A portfolio showing the design process, UX decisions, UI quality, responsive design examples, and the candidate’s contribution to each project.
• Proficiency in Figma, including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and implementation-ready high-fidelity UI designs.
• Strong foundations in user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, usability, and accessibility.
• Hands-on user research or usability-testing experience and the ability to apply findings to design decisions.
• Experience with design systems and reusable components.
• Understanding of technical constraints and how design decisions affect development.
• Ability to structure information clearly and understand complex workflows and data-rich interfaces.
• Collaborative communication skills, openness to feedback, ability to explain design decisions, curiosity, and motivation to keep learning.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience designing B2B SaaS products, enterprise software, or operational tools.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing or other complex industrial environments.
• Experience with data visualization, dashboards, mobile experiences, or AI-powered products.
• Knowledge of front-end development concepts such as HTML and CSS.
