Flight Control Intern (C++)

hirify.global is building a software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems for enterprise and government customers.

What you will do

• Integrate, develop, and maintain autonomous aerial vehicles.
• Design and implement algorithms for control, estimation, system state monitoring, and management.
• Test flight-control and autonomy features in simulation and real flights, evaluate performance, and iterate.
• Document and report procedures and results.
• Collaborate with engineers, hardware experts, and customers within the Guidance, Navigation and Control team.

Requirements

• Final-year Master's student or graduate in mechanical, electrical, computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
• Software development experience; C++ is preferred.
• Knowledge of GNC topics including system dynamics, state estimation, and control applied to real-world robotic systems.
• Hands-on experience with robotic hardware and electronics.
• Comfortable working with Git and Linux.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• CH/EU citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience with the PX4 ecosystem or aerial robotics.
• Experience with ROS2, DDS, or Docker.
