Compliance Operations Specialist (Fintech)

hirify.global is building an AI-powered infrastructure layer for global commerce that combines payments, stablecoins, compliance, risk, fraud, chargebacks, reconciliation, and customer support.

What you will do

• Review and approve user KYC cases, investigate transaction-monitoring alerts, and escalate suspicious activity.
• Review sanctions and PEP screening alerts and perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk users.
• Screen crypto wallets and transactions using blockchain analytics tools.
• Support SAR drafting, escalation decisions, regulatory filings, and AML responsibilities for the EU CASP entity.
• Respond to information requests from partners, banks, and law enforcement while maintaining audit-ready case records.
• Improve compliance rules, tools, and processes in collaboration with Risk, Fraud, Support, and Product.

Requirements

• 3+ years of compliance experience at a fintech, payments, banking, or crypto company.
• Hands-on KYC experience and strong AML knowledge, including BSA/AML and OFAC.
• Experience with transaction monitoring, sanctions and PEP screening, and crypto compliance, including blockchain analytics tools.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup without an established playbook.
• Builder mentality, strong bias toward action, and willingness to handle detailed operational work regardless of seniority.
• Interest in using AI and automation to improve compliance processes.

Nice to have

• Experience drafting SARs.
• Experience with third-party KYC and fraud platforms.
• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
