Production Assistant Apprenticeship - Level 3 (Digital)

Location: London - Television Centre; applicants must live within a commutable distance. The role also requires travel to in-person learning blocks and other apprenticeship-related activities where necessary.

Salary: £24,650 plus £5,441 London weighting.

What you will do

• Research content, develop ideas and stories, and find guests and participants.
• Assist production teams on location, in studios, TV galleries, and on studio floors.
• Support the use of cameras, sound, lighting, editing equipment, and specialist software.
• Create content for multiple digital platforms, including social media, under professional guidance.
• Attend learning blocks and work toward the Level 3 Production Assistant apprenticeship qualification.

• The scheme is for non-graduates.
• Applicants must be at least 18 by the apprenticeship start in September 2027, have lived continuously in the UK for the previous three years, and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire apprenticeship.
• Applicants must not be enrolled in another apprenticeship.
• Applicants under 19 on 7 September 2027 must have or obtain the required Maths and English qualifications, including GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent, where applicable.
