Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship (TV Social Team)

Location: London Broadcasting House, London; candidates must live within a commutable distance. The role includes working on location and supporting outside broadcasts.

Salary: £24,650, including £5,441 London weighting.

What you will do

• Support production management and business teams with the planning and coordination of productions and shows.
• Work on location and support outside broadcasts, filming setups and production activities.
• Complete production paperwork and help ensure rights are correctly cleared and reported.
• Manage staffing rotas, staff leave, transport and accommodation bookings.
• Support budget management, payment processing and hirify.global production systems.
• Coordinate hirify.global equipment and access to systems while learning health, safety and compliance practices.

Requirements

• Must be aged 18 or over by the apprenticeship start in September 2027.
• Must have lived continuously in the UK for the three years before the apprenticeship starts.
• Must be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire 17-month apprenticeship.
• Must not be enrolled in another apprenticeship or already hold a qualification in the same subject at the same or higher level.
• This scheme is aimed at non-graduates.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, negotiating, communication and teamwork skills.
• Resilience, responsibility, focus in challenging situations, flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and demands, with willingness to work outside normal hours.
• Passion for production management rather than primarily developing content ideas.
• For candidates under 19 on 7 September 2027: GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, National 5 at C, Functional Skills Level 2 or an equivalent qualification; missing qualifications must be achieved before the end-point assessment.
