Production Assistant Apprenticeship - Level 3 (Film)

Location: London Broadcasting House, London; candidates must live within a commutable distance. The role includes travel to in-person learning blocks and other apprenticeship-related activities where necessary.

Salary: £24,650 plus £5,441 London weighting.

hirify.global Film supports around 10–12 feature films each year, develops distinctive British films, and collaborates with UK and international distributors, writers, directors, and emerging talent.

What you will do

• Research content and find guests and participants to help develop ideas and stories.
• Assist production teams on location, in studios, TV galleries, and on studio floors.
• Support cameras, sound, lighting, editing, and other production equipment and specialist software.
• Create content for multiple platforms, including social media, under professional guidance.
• Attend learning blocks of up to one week, delivered through a mixture of in-person and virtual tutorials, presentations, and group work.

• The scheme is for non-graduates.
• Applicants must be at least 18 by the apprenticeship start in September 2027.
• Applicants must have lived continuously in the UK for the three years before the apprenticeship starts and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the full apprenticeship.
• Applicants must not be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
• Applicants under 19 on 7 September 2027 must have, or obtain before the end-point assessment, Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or above, National 5 at C, Functional Skills Level 2, or an equivalent qualification.
