Production Assistant Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Children's & Education - Salford (Children's & Education)

Location: Salford - Quay House, UK; candidates must live within a commutable distance. The role includes travel to in-person learning blocks and other apprenticeship-related activities where necessary.

Salary: £24,650 per year.

What you will do

• Research content, develop ideas and stories, and find guests and participants.
• Assist production teams on location, in studios, TV galleries and on studio floors.
• Support cameras, sound, lighting, editing and other technical production activities.
• Create content for multiple platforms, including social media, under professional guidance.
• Attend on- and off-the-job learning blocks and work towards the Level 3 Production Assistant qualification.

• Applicants must be non-graduates, aged 18 or over by the apprenticeship start in September 2027, have lived continuously in the UK for the previous three years, and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the full apprenticeship.
• Applicants must not already be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
• Applicants under 19 on 7 September 2027 must have or obtain Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or above, National 5 at C, Functional Skills Level 2 or an equivalent qualification before the end-point assessment.
