Production Assistant Apprenticeship - SCQF 7 (BBC Audio)

Location: Glasgow - Pacific Quay; you must live within a commutable distance. The role includes travel to in-person learning blocks and other apprenticeship-related activities where necessary.

Salary: £24,650 per year.

What you will do

• Research content, develop ideas and stories, and find guests and participants.
• Assist production teams on location, in studios, TV galleries, and on studio floors.
• Support the use of cameras, sound, lighting, editing equipment, and specialist software.
• Create content for multiple platforms, including social media, under professional guidance.
• Attend on- and off-the-job learning blocks and work toward the Level 3 Production Assistant qualification.

• Non-graduate applicants only.
• You must be at least 18 by the apprenticeship start date in September 2027.
• You must be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire apprenticeship.
• You must not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
