Site Reliability Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Create and maintain customer cloud environments for operating the hirify.global PLM Platform.
• Collaborate with DevOps, support, development, and internal and external technical teams.
• Implement CI/CD automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to reduce operational toil.
• Deploy services across multiple cloud environments and regions, including cross-region environments.
• Improve system deployments, operations, monitoring, security, privacy, performance, and cloud costs.
• Respond to customer environment issues and participate in 24/7 duty officer and on-call shifts.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Advanced networking knowledge, including load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and TCP/IP troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Experience with monitoring systems and SLA tracking.
• Hands-on experience administering and supporting high-scale production workloads.
• Experience applying an everything-as-code approach.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, willingness to take responsibility, and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work with cloud technologies, with Azure preferred.

Nice to have

• Ability to commute into the Tokyo office is highly desirable.
