Research Engineer (Computer Vision)

What you will do

• Contribute to the applied-research roadmap for face recognition, image quality, anti-spoofing, and biometric capture pipelines.
• Manage the research lifecycle, including data acquisition, annotation, deep learning model training, experimentation, and delivery of research outcomes.
• Work across machines, ecosystems, tools, and infrastructure to advance research beyond software development alone.
• Resolve complex technical issues, deployment challenges, and escalated SDK support requests.
• Promote security, governance, quality, and software lifecycle management best practices.
• Explore novel research directions, contribute to patents and publications, and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of computer vision experience gained in industry or a public research institution.
• Strong Python and machine learning skills, including hands-on experience training deep learning models for image-based tasks.
• Adaptability across different technologies and tools, with comfort working in ambiguous situations.
• Independent, resilient, and creative problem-solving approach with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Software engineering and C# experience.
• Biometrics experience; internal training is provided.
