Senior Graphic Designer (Medical Learning)

What you will do

• Design graphics, illustrations, UI elements, animations, and other visual assets for eLearning, workshops, virtual programs, print materials, applications, and interactive learning solutions.
• Develop cohesive visual styles, maintain brand consistency, and ensure quality across projects.
• Translate complex scientific and medical concepts into clear, engaging visuals using UX and learner-focused design principles.
• Collaborate with Medical Writers, Instructional Designers, Project Managers, Developers, clients, Account Management, and project teams to define creative approaches and solve design challenges.
• Research scientific subjects, maintain organized project files, deliver assets to production and technical standards, and provide project estimates.
• Review freelancer and junior designer work, mentor team members, and contribute to proposals, client presentations, peer reviews, and creative critiques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Medical Illustration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of agency or creative services experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Acrobat.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word, plus familiarity with Adobe XD, Storyline, Rise, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of design principles, visual communication, UX/UI, and audience-centered design.
• Ability to simplify and visualize complex information effectively.
• Excellent organization, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Experience leading creative projects and providing direction or mentorship to other designers.
• Creative problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of 3D design, photography, video production or editing, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or drawing fundamentals.
• Experience working directly with clients and contributing to award-winning creative work.
