TL;DR
RD Chemist (Pyralux) (Advanced Electronics Materials): Leading Pyralux flexible copper clad laminate development for high-speed and high-frequency applications with an accent on material technology, formulation development, and scale-up. Focus on establishing operational windows for new formulations, collaborating with copper foil suppliers, and managing multiple FCCL development projects.

Location: On-site in Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan

What you will do

  • Establish technology capabilities and know-how by understanding customer needs and material technology.
  • Lead multiple Pyralux flexible copper clad laminate development projects and supervise team members.
  • Collaborate with copper foil suppliers to develop copper clad laminates.
  • Identify operational windows for new formulations from laboratory development through process scale-up.
  • Train technicians and sales representatives.

Requirements

  • PhD required in Material Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams inside hirify.global.
  • Ability to work independently as a researcher and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin required.
  • Good computer proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Experience in patent search and patent filing.
  • Experience in polyimide synthesis.
  • Experience in dispersion or interface mechanics.
