Senior React Native Developer (React Native)

Location: Fully remote, with legal right to work in the UK required.

Salary: £60,000–£80,000 per annum; dependent on experience, up to £90,000.

An established retail organisation is investing in its in-house development team to build mobile applications, web platforms, and business-critical systems.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain mobile applications with React Native.
• Build and enhance web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop C#/.NET backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to microservices, application integrations, retail systems, and ePOS solutions.
• Work with MongoDB and SQL Server while producing clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Collaborate on technical decisions, continuous improvement, code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• 6 years' commercial experience with C# and .NET.
• 6 years' commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with React Native, commercially or through personal projects.
• Commercial database experience, ideally with MongoDB and SQL Server.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Experience with unit testing and code reviews; familiarity with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to delivering quality code and improving existing solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or supporting wider team development.

Nice to have

• Understanding of offline-first development and data synchronisation.
• Exposure to RabbitMQ, MassTransit, Entity Framework, Azure, Jenkins, or Kubernetes.
