Senior Computer Vision & AI Algorithm Engineer (Medical Imaging)

Location: Onsite in Kefar Sava, Central, Israel

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve AI, computer vision, and image processing algorithms for a medical imaging product.
• Own the algorithm lifecycle from concept and data definition through implementation, validation, product integration, and long-term maintenance.
• Develop solutions using classical computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning for image classification, segmentation, and 3D modeling.
• Collaborate with software developers, biomedical engineers, product specialists, and other algorithm developers.
• Improve algorithm robustness, performance, and reliability in production environments.
• Review current academic research and evaluate its relevance to the algorithmic stack.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field; excellent B.Sc. graduates will also be considered.
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing AI, computer vision, and image processing algorithms.
• Strong understanding of data quality, dataset design, model evaluation, and performance analysis.
• Ability to independently lead technical projects from concept through deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with MATLAB for algorithm development and analysis.
