What you will do

• Create real-time vegetation assets (trees, bushes, grass) using a full 3D pipeline (modeling, sculpting, texturing, retopology, and UV).
• Develop specialized plant sets tailored for various game biomes.
• Integrate assets into Unreal Engine 5 while adhering to technical and gameplay constraints.
• Analyze and collect references to ensure assets align with project guidelines and concepts.
• Coordinate with lead artists and provide mentorship to junior 3D artists.

Requirements

• Proven experience in vegetation modeling within the game industry.
• Proficiency in 3D tools such as 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, ZBrush, SpeedTree, or Houdini.
• Strong skills in texture creation tools like Photoshop, Substance Designer, or Substance Painter.
• Deep understanding of modern game development pipelines and requirements.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Game Engines such as Unreal Engine 5 or Unity.
• Expertise in high-poly sculpting using ZBrush.
