Decision Scientist (AI)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office for team members based near key hubs

What you will do

• Invent, design, implement, and continuously refine decisioning logic and models running in live production systems.
• Research complex fraud patterns, adversarial behaviors, and emerging threats.
• Analyze large and diverse datasets to generate insights, build system components, and advance feature engineering.
• Use agentic tools such as Claude Code to build automations and improve system accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders on AI-driven commerce technology.

Requirements

• Psychometric score above 700 or an equivalent score such as GMAT.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in quantitative hypothesis-driven research, algorithmic development, or product development, or an MSc/PhD in a quantitative field such as Physics, Economics, Neuroscience, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
• Record of high achievement in academic, professional, military, or other work.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, including the ability to break down and solve highly complex problems.
• Extensive experience working with large-scale datasets using Python, R, or Matlab.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical ideas and research outcomes to varied audiences.
• Curiosity and ability to understand systemic behaviors and adversarial tactics.
• Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently within a collaborative team.
• Experience building AI-based agentic workflows, apps, or automations; bring an example to explain during the process and be comfortable with agentic tools.

Nice to have

• Deep familiarity with machine learning concepts and hands-on practice.
• Background in risk analysis, intelligence, or adversarial research.
