Operations/Production Supervisor (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: On-premise in McPherson, Kansas, United States. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States; U.S. visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.

Annual base salary: $82,700–$137,900, plus eligibility for a 10% bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead people, technology, and financial resources to achieve production outcomes.
• Manage direct and indirect reports, including performance, mentoring, development, and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, batch records, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and plant protocols.
• Identify process and product improvements and promote continuous learning, safety, and improvement.
• Lead investigations into equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Supervise operations, complete production documentation and schedules, and coordinate work across production areas and facilities as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of experience, associate’s degree with 6+ years, BA/BS with 2+ years, or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with demonstrated application of process improvement tools.
• Strong people management experience and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities.
• Ability to stand for several consecutive hours, frequently walk between production areas, and occasionally bend, squat, carry, or lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving machines, temperature changes, and required personal protective equipment; close and color vision and the ability to adjust and focus are required.
