QA Engineer (Crypto)

Location: Hybrid in Zürich, Switzerland

What you will do

• Test, support, and coordinate the execution of custom-built order management, infrastructure, and risk tools across client-facing and internal components.
• Contribute to automated and manual testing, specifications, and engineering requirements in an Agile development environment.
• Manage release quality by executing tests, reviewing results, analyzing performance data, scrutinizing logs, and reporting on release candidates.
• Review products, report defects and errors, communicate quantitative and qualitative findings, and track issue resolution.
• Verify that products meet requirements and end-user expectations while identifying improvements to efficiency, test coverage, and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree.
• Experience designing test plans and writing test cases.
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr.
• Experience working within an Agile framework.
• Familiarity with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• At least 2 years of experience in a programming language, preferably Python.
• Familiarity with testing and automation frameworks, industry trends, and their trade-offs.
• Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication, documentation, interpersonal, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills, with a product-oriented mindset and initiative to improve test coverage.
• Applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland through a Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship.

Nice to have

• Relevant training or certification, such as ISTQB.
