Aviation Subject Matter Expert – Commercial Pilot / Flight Operations

What you will do

• Review AI-generated content covering instrument approach procedures and cockpit briefings.
• Verify FAA approach charts and terminal procedures.
• Evaluate cockpit phraseology and briefings against Part 135 operational and safety standards.
• Assess technical outputs for IFR compliance and flight operations best practices.
• Document errors, recommend corrections, and collaborate with project coordinators to meet aviation safety standards.

Requirements

• FAA-certificated Commercial Pilot with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
• Current or previous experience as a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) or Part 135 Check Airman.
• Strong knowledge of FAA approach charts, terminal procedures, and instrument approach briefings.
• Thorough understanding of Part 135 operations, IFR procedures, and aviation safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation and evaluating complex aviation content.
• Ability to provide clear, accurate, and actionable feedback.
