Junior Forward Deployed Engineer (GenAI)

What you will do

• Build LLM-based solutions including RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, workflow automation, and chat interfaces under senior guidance.
• Connect AI solutions to APIs, databases, business tools, and existing client systems.
• Benchmark foundation models, prototype solutions, and validate ideas directly with users.
• Apply data protection and AI regulation requirements, including GDPR, the EU AI Act, and model licences.
• Support adoption through documentation, training sessions, feedback collection, and performance measurement.
• Communicate progress clearly to technical and business audiences.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related technical field; strong technical projects alongside the degree are valued.
• 0–2 years of experience from professional work, internships, research, or academic settings; recent graduates with solid LLM projects are encouraged to apply.
• Experience building with LLMs through coursework, a thesis, internships, or personal projects, including prompting, RAG, basic agent workflows, and simple model evaluation sets or tests.
• Clean, readable Python and willingness to learn languages required by client stacks.
• Ability to call APIs and connect different systems.
• Ability to prioritise tasks with guidance and develop an understanding of useful client outcomes.
• Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences and listen carefully to user needs.
• French and English required.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic SDK, or similar applied AI frameworks and SDKs.
• Experience deploying projects to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps, including prompt version control, evaluation pipelines, or monitoring.
• Understanding of vector databases and embeddings.
