Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (GenAI)

What you will do

• Identify client problems where AI can create value and turn them into deployable solutions.
• Design and implement LLM-based systems, including autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces.
• Integrate solutions with client APIs, databases, and business tools while complying with GDPR, the EU AI Act, and model licensing requirements.
• Benchmark foundation models, rapidly prototype, and validate solutions directly with users.
• Drive adoption through training, stakeholder collaboration, and iterative improvement in production.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and business decision-makers.

Requirements

• Background in computer science, AI, or a related technical field; a degree is usual, but demonstrated ability to build is valued.
• At least 2 years of professional experience; strong graduates with substantial LLM projects are encouraged to apply.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including advanced prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, agent orchestration, and systematic model-output evaluation.
• Strong Python skills and the ability to learn additional languages required by client environments.
• Experience integrating APIs and connecting heterogeneous systems.
• Ability to understand client context, prioritize useful solutions, and deliver value quickly.
• Teaching ability, active listening, and communication skills across different levels of technical expertise.
• Fluent French and English required.

Nice to have

• German language skills; support is available for learning German.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic SDK, or similar applied AI frameworks.
• Experience deploying and operating solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to MLOps or LLMOps, including model CI/CD, prompt versioning, evaluation pipelines, and observability.
• Strong understanding of vector databases, embeddings, neural networks, and latent space.
