Lecturer (Teaching Focused) - Psychology

Location: Primarily based at hirify.global Gold Coast campus, Southport, Queensland, Australia; may require work across other University campuses.

Salary: AUD 117,076–139,031 per annum base salary plus 17% superannuation; total FTE package AUD 136,979–162,667 per annum.

What you will do

• Deliver student-centred teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs.
• Coordinate courses and contribute to curriculum design, assessment, and continuous improvement.
• Develop innovative learning approaches that support student success, employability, industry engagement, and work-integrated learning.
• Apply scholarly and professional expertise to improve the quality, relevance, and impact of teaching and learning.
• Administer academic programs in line with University policies, professional standards, and legislative requirements.

Requirements

• PhD or doctoral qualification in Psychology or a related field.
• Experience teaching and coordinating courses in a higher education environment.
• Evidence of high-quality, student-centred teaching and the ability to develop engaging learning and assessment activities.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with students, colleagues, industry, and community partners.
• Commitment to scholarship, professional development, and continuous improvement in learning and teaching.
• Unrestricted working rights are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
