Retail Design Specialist

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia, with hybrid working

What you will do

• Translate brand strategies and customer insights into scalable 3D retail environments, store concepts, and experiential fixtures.
• Lead the development, optimisation, and governance of retail design toolkits, including guidelines, fixture libraries, material boards, and architectural details.
• Optimise customer journeys through spatial flow, visual merchandising integration, and physical touchpoints.
• Own design deliverables for concurrent store format and fit-out projects from concept design through construction administration.
• Manage design programs, consultant fees, prototype budgets, value engineering, and sustainability considerations.
• Produce and review technical specifications, CAD documentation, 2D and 3D visualisations, briefs, design reviews, and supplier fabrication output.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in retail design, industrial design focused on fixtures, architecture, or interiors.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong design and project management skills.
• High proficiency in Twinmotion or Enscape, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, or similar tools.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong 2D and 3D visualisation skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Design, or a related field.
