Databricks Engineer

Location: 100% onsite in the United States; Short Hills, NJ

What you will do

• Lead enterprise data integration, data warehousing, and analytics delivery.
• Design, develop, and support Databricks data engineering solutions, Delta Lake, lakehouse patterns, and ETL modernization.
• Develop enterprise dashboards, semantic models, data refresh processes, and reporting solutions in Power BI.
• Coordinate technical delivery with business users, Product Owners, Project Managers, QA teams, application partners, and offshore development resources.
• Optimize SQL workloads and support production data environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in an experienced, hands-on data engineering or analytics delivery role.
• Experience with Databricks, including data engineering, Delta Lake, lakehouse patterns, or ETL modernization.
• Experience with Power BI, including enterprise dashboards, semantic models, data refresh, and reporting solutions.
• Experience in data warehousing, ETL, data integration, or enterprise analytics delivery.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating work with offshore delivery resources.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including advanced SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing or supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions on IBM Netezza.
• Understanding of data integration patterns, dimensional modeling, batch processing, data quality, and production support.
• Experience with cloud data services on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform; Agile/Scrum and structured SDLC delivery environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, planning, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
