Senior UX Designer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden; candidates must already have the right to work in Sweden. Work permit sponsorship and relocation support are not available.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design process from research and user testing through prototyping, UI, UX writing, and release.
• Improve invoice and payment journeys for clients’ customers across current and new markets, making them clear, fair, simple, and accessible.
• Meet clients and customers, use data and user insights to identify opportunities, and define measures of UX impact.
• Clarify design principles and grow the design system to create a consistent user journey.
• Extend AI-assisted design workflows for research and prototyping, including tools built with developers.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and client-facing teams while balancing strategic ownership with hands-on delivery.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on end-to-end UX design experience covering research, user testing, prototyping, UI, UX writing, and ownership from insight to release.
• Generalist experience with hands-on delivery and strategic responsibility, such as establishing processes or ways of working.
• Experience working independently or as one of a small number of designers, ideally in a startup or scale-up.
• Technical curiosity and experience using AI tools such as Claude or Lovable alongside Figma for prototyping, research, or automation.
• Ability to use data and metrics to guide design decisions and evaluate outcomes.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions to product managers and stakeholders.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Right to work in Sweden is required.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Swedish.
• Experience in fintech, payments, consumer-facing flows, or fast-growing startup or scale-up environments.
