Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Prepare and configure deployment environments for an on-premises data platform and supporting environments.
• Deploy and integrate application components and supporting services.
• Configure connectivity, runtime parameters, security controls, and secrets management.
• Establish deployment automation, release procedures, and controlled deployments across DEV, UAT, and PROD.
• Implement or integrate monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, and operational controls.
• Support infrastructure testing, troubleshooting, documentation, handover, backup, recovery, and rollback activities.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or DevOps, including at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience deploying and operating enterprise applications, data platforms, or comparable multi-component solutions.
• Practical experience with on-premises or hybrid enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Linux administration and server-based application deployment.
• Virtual machine and container-based deployment models, including Docker, container networking, application configuration, and runtime troubleshooting.
• CI/CD pipelines, Git, scripting, and deployment automation.
• Environment configuration and controlled deployment across DEV, UAT, and PROD.
• Networking, certificates, authentication, access controls, secrets management, monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.
• Backup, recovery, deployment rollback, and infrastructure security practices.
• Experience deploying and operating data orchestration platforms, ETL/ELT systems, relational databases, or other data-intensive applications.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or OpenShift experience; this is beneficial but not mandatory for the proposed architecture.
• Experience with Linux, Docker Compose, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or equivalent technologies.
