Specialist, Product Compliance

Location: Copenhagen Head Office area; the role can be based at the hirify.global Head Office in Frederiksberg or STARK Huset in Viby J, Denmark.

What you will do

• Translate product compliance regulations and customer documentation expectations into practical processes, procedures, templates, controls and tools.
• Monitor emerging obligations, assess business impact and support implementation across Group functions and business units.
• Advise stakeholders on documentation, certifications, declarations and other product-related requirements; develop training and capability-building materials.
• Conduct risk assessments for Own Brand projects and coordinate documentation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support third-party certification activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collect and validate information, review documentation, follow up with stakeholders and keep compliance data up to date.

Requirements

• Relevant education in engineering, product compliance, regulatory affairs, environmental science, business, supply chain management or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in product compliance, product regulatory affairs, product stewardship or a similar field.
• Experience implementing product compliance requirements in a cross-functional and commercial organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical requirements to non-specialists.
• A proactive, structured and implementation-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a practical and business-oriented mindset.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail, distribution, builders’ merchant, manufacturing or another product-focused business environment.
• Danish language skills.
• Experience with Own Brand products or third-party certifications.
