Associate Endpoint System Engineer

Location: Avon, Minnesota, United States; occasional travel to jobsite locations is required, and some installations and upgrades may take place outside normal business hours or on weekends.

Salary: $62,440.00–$90,539.00 per year.

What you will do

• Configure, maintain, package, image, patch, and manage enterprise Windows and Apple endpoint devices through Microsoft Intune and related endpoint management platforms.
• Automate device imaging, configuration, application installation, and lifecycle management using Intune, AutoPilot, Apple Business Manager, and scripting.
• Administer device management profiles, policies, company store functions, corporate Apple ID, and conditional access for corporate and BYOD devices.
• Monitor endpoint infrastructure, manage inventory, support major incidents, and drive improvements to endpoint service quality and efficiency.
• Resolve complex Tier 3 technical and functional issues, escalate to vendors or software developers when needed, and propose preventive solutions.
• Create technical documentation and knowledge-base articles, train IT staff, and provide escalated 24/7/365 on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering, or a related field; or an AAS degree in Information Technology with equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working with mobile and Windows endpoint devices, including deployment, management, and support.
• At least 1 year of active SCCM and/or Intune administration experience, including software-installation automation and mobile device management.
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure technologies, Apple Business Manager, Windows desktop deployment and management, Active Directory GPO, SCOM, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with logging and alerting tools and ITSM platforms such as Splunk and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of scripting languages including PowerShell, Python, JSON, and Perl; networking, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong experience with Apple iOS devices, critical thinking, communication, documentation, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent work.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Occasional travel for implementation, training, piloting, and IT projects affecting jobsite locations.

Nice to have

• Technical training or certifications such as Microsoft Certified System Administration, Intune, or Azure certifications.
