Senior Process Engineer (Battery Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States; minimum 4 days per week onsite and less than 10% travel.

Salary: $103,200–$154,800 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead development of battery manufacturing processes and battery designs for new product development in cardiac rhythm management.
• Collaborate with Design, Operations, Quality, and Reliability to create product designs, requirements, and capable processes.
• Design, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize processes to improve production efficiency, quality, and yield.
• Plan and execute experiments, statistical analyses, process characterization, OQ/PQ, TMVs, and process release activities.
• Develop manufacturing equipment requirements and interface with suppliers through equipment design and build, including FAT, SAT, and IQ activities.
• Develop statistical process control and measurement-system techniques and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hire and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.
• For bachelor’s degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Nice to have

• Battery development or manufacturing experience in a regulated industry.
• New product development experience, including design for reliability and manufacturing.
• Experience with predictive modeling and experimental design software such as JMP, Minitab, and MATLAB.
• DRM or Six Sigma certification.
