Senior Portfolio Manager (f/m/d) Technology & Innovation (Digital Grid): Assessing emerging Digital Grid technologies, products, architectures, and solutions to shape technology roadmaps, portfolio priorities, and investment recommendations with an accent on power systems, grid automation, and digital substations. Focus on technical due diligence for partnerships and M&A, translating complex technical findings into business cases, and evaluating customer value, competitive positioning, and technology gaps.
Location: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Conditions also list Zagreb, Croatia. Flexible working times and home office opportunity are available.

What you will do
- Assess emerging technologies, digital solutions, products, and architectures for portfolio development and innovation opportunities.
- Shape technology roadmaps and portfolio priorities and provide recommendations for future investments.
- Evaluate technologies and capabilities for partnerships, M&A activities, and technical due diligence.
- Work with engineering, product management, and business development to assess customer requirements, competitive solutions, and technology gaps.
- Translate complex technical insights into business recommendations focused on customer value, competitive positioning, and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Extensive professional experience in technology-focused energy-sector roles, including power systems, grid technologies, automation, digital solutions, product management, or technology strategy.
- Deep knowledge of Digital Grid technologies, such as grid automation, protection and control, substation automation, digital substations, grid software, or DER integration.
- Experience evaluating technologies, developing technology roadmaps, shaping portfolio decisions, or driving complex cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical topics into business cases, investment recommendations, portfolio priorities, and executive-level communication.
- Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented approach with experience working across international and cross-functional teams.
