Human Factors Engineer, Professional Senior

What you will do

• Lead human factors research, usability testing, and validation across the product design lifecycle, from research and concept development through final evaluation.
• Collaborate with industrial design, UX research, engineering, product management, and other cross-functional partners to plan studies and translate findings into design recommendations.
• Develop test protocols, select methodologies, and conduct independent evaluations using advanced human factors, usability, and mixed-methods approaches.
• Analyze and communicate findings through reports, presentations, metrics, stakeholder readouts, statistical analysis, and human performance insights.
• Contribute to brainstorming, concept refinement, and prototype evaluation for intuitive, effective, user-centered products.
• Manage multiple projects, maintain documentation, align work with human factors standards and compliance needs, and mentor junior professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HCI, Human Factors and Ergonomics, Cognitive Psychology, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Human Factors Engineer.
• Experience in human-centered research related to human-computer interaction or man-machine interaction.
• Understanding of advanced human factors physiological tools and methods, including EMG, goniometry, and biometrics.
• Strong skills in user research, usability testing, data visualization, and communication.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with scripting or programming for data manipulation, research applications, and statistical analysis, such as R or Matlab.
