IT Officer

Location: Beirut, Lebanon; hybrid work with support for Lebanon country and field offices.

What you will do

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, corporate applications, and helpdesk requests.
• Install, configure, maintain, and document computers, network resources, wired and wireless LANs, and connectivity solutions for country and field offices.
• Implement VPN, satellite, backup, network security, and data-loss-prevention solutions while maintaining IT assets, software, licenses, and inventories.
• Support IT procurement, vendor coordination, application evaluation, budgeting, and annual IT audits.
• Train users and IT staff, coach Lebanon IT teams, and support partners with IT assessments, capacity building, and policy development.
• Contribute to the country IT strategy, technology projects, and alignment with regional and global IT directives.

Requirements

• Graduation or college degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as an IT professional or IT support staff member.
• Excellent technical knowledge of PC hardware and the Microsoft platform, including Excel and Outlook.
• MCITP course or equivalent experience in a Windows Server environment.
• Experience installing, configuring, and managing wired and wireless LANs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong personal integrity, attention to detail, teamwork, problem-solving ability, and a high sense of urgency.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• ITIL V3 Certificate.
