Cloud Systems Administrator (FinTech)

Location: Shah Alam, Malaysia; full-time, onsite

What you will do

• Manage AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting transaction routing, payment processing, merchant integrations, settlement workflows, and backend platform services.
• Maintain high availability, performance, capacity planning, scaling strategies, multi-zone architectures, disaster recovery, and strict SLA and uptime targets.
• Monitor infrastructure health, application dependencies, and transaction performance; troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements.
• Develop automation for provisioning, configuration management, patching, environment validation, recovery workflows, and standardized environment builds using Terraform or cloud-native tools.
• Enforce cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, network segmentation, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls aligned with PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
• Use AI-powered tooling for anomaly detection, intelligent log correlation, incident summarization, predictive scaling, configuration optimization, runbook generation, and cloud cost analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems administration roles.
• Hands-on experience managing production cloud environments supporting high-availability applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, system architecture, Linux system administration, distributed-system reliability fundamentals, and scripting or automation practices.
• Experience with Python or Bash.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under operational pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience in payment gateways, FinTech, banking, or high-transaction environments.
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Exposure to observability platforms and operational analytics tooling.
• Experience supporting regulated production environments.
