SAP Manager (S/4HANA)

Location: Milan, Italy. Hybrid role with three days per week in-office: Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day of choice; extra remote time may be requested.

Initial salary: starting from €57,000 gross per annum.

What you will do

• Own and enhance SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud as the subject matter expert for GL, Asset Accounting, AR, AP, Treasury, and CO.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, statutory reporting, and group consolidation while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Manage Business Partner structures and financial master data governance across systems.
• Maintain SAP FI/CO integration with Materials Management to improve procurement and passive invoicing workflows.
• Adapt SAP to rapid product launches, changing business models, and increasing transaction volumes.
• Identify process bottlenecks and translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications with internal stakeholders and the external implementation partner.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on functional SAP ERP experience, including proven expertise implementing and managing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
• In-depth technical and functional knowledge of General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Controlling.
• Practical experience managing and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close procedures in SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Business Partner architecture and financial master data structures, plus solid experience with cross-module integration with Materials Management.
• Experience supporting fast-paced product launches and adapting to shifting priorities in a dynamic scale-up environment.
• Ability to analyze complex business and financial processes and design standardized workflows within SAP Public Cloud guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills for bridging technical, engineering, business, and accounting stakeholders.
• Proactive, structured, highly adaptable, and able to take ownership of complex financial enterprise systems.
