Senior Power BI Consultant (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of BI projects across the full reporting lifecycle, from data modeling and architecture through deployment.
• Design scalable, performant, governed, and maintainable Power BI reporting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear KPIs, reporting logic, and technical data needs.
• Manage Power BI Service environments, including workspaces, datasets, deployment, sharing, and Row-Level Security.
• Coach colleagues in modeling, DAX, visualization, deployment, and BI best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders and contribute to internal methodologies, reusable assets, and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of BI experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Power BI expertise.
• Experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions covering modeling, DAX, transformations, visualization, and deployment.
• Knowledge of scalable and performant data models and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements into KPIs and reporting logic.
• Ownership of solution design and quality, plus the ability to coach colleagues in best practices.
• Confident use of Power BI Service, including workspace management, dataset governance, deployment, sharing, and Row-Level Security.
• Experience with external Power BI tools such as Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
• Ability to communicate effectively with data engineers and understand modern data platform concepts, including translating business requirements into technical data needs and identifying data or modeling challenges.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch and/or French.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, Databricks, Fabric, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
• Dashboards or a portfolio included with the application.
