  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent, with experience supporting manufacturing process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to document technical concepts in SOPs, work instructions, process specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with structured root cause analysis and corrective action methods such as 8D, fishbone, and 5-Why for manufacturing nonconformances and process deviations.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret process data to support engineering decisions and continuous improvement in low-volume or novel manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to solve complex problems from first principles with minimal supervision and contribute independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Commitment to safety culture and ability to work within OSHA, ITAR, and hazardous or energetic materials standards.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching in a manufacturing environment while using required personal protective equipment.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain applicable state and federal explosives licenses, including minimum age requirements of 21 or older; ability to work in a drug-free workplace and complete legally required background investigations.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR.
