TL;DR
Legal & Privacy Intern (AI): Supporting data subject requests and privacy compliance across European markets with an accent on GDPR, contracts, and data protection operations. Focus on managing request logs, conducting legal research, reviewing agreements, and supporting privacy impact assessments and vendor checks.

Location: Hybrid, based in the Milan office, Italy

Compensation: €900/month reimbursement plus meal vouchers

Company

hirify.global is building an AI platform for legal work used by legal professionals across Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Bulgaria.

What you will do

  • Support data subject requests, including access, rectification, erasure, and objection requests, across Italy, Germany, Spain, and other markets.
  • Maintain the request log and improve templates, procedures, and response times.
  • Draft and review NDAs and data processing agreements using established playbooks.
  • Review contracts, identify potential issues, and prepare first drafts for Legal Counsels.
  • Conduct legal research on privacy and digital regulation topics, including work with hirify.global.
  • Maintain records of processing activities, data maps, privacy documentation, privacy impact assessments, vendor checks, customer security questionnaire responses, privacy notices, internal policies, and awareness materials.

Requirements

  • Recent law degree.
  • Solid knowledge of the GDPR and genuine interest in data protection and EU digital regulation, including the AI Act.
  • Native Italian and fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • German or French language skills.
  • Master's degree, course, or certification in data protection.
  • Previous internship or experience in a law firm, privacy team, or technology company.
