Business Intelligence & Automation Intern

Location: Geneva, Switzerland. EU passport holder or right to work in Switzerland required; valid internship agreement required.

What you will do

• Build, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards covering consumption, revenue, cost, stock rotation, venue performance, package penetration, and other operational KPIs.
• Support KPI definition and alignment across Hotel, Yacht Club, Food & Beverage, SRE, Housekeeping, and other shipboard departments.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports, identify trends, risks, and anomalies, and communicate insights to business owners.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis of consumption patterns, cost deviations, stock inefficiencies, menu yield gaps, and initiative performance.
• Assist with automating PMS data extraction and validating data integrity.
• Support business case preparation, ROI modeling, and sensitivity analysis while collaborating with BI, IT, Procurement, Demand Planning, and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard tools; Power BI is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• EU passport or right to work in Switzerland.
• Valid internship agreement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau.
• Experience with Python or R.
