Senior Software Engineer, SDK - iOS

Location: Portugal — remote anywhere in Portugal or hybrid from the Lisbon office; London, UK — hybrid with 3 days onsite.

What you will do

• Build new products and enhance existing products for the iOS SDK document-capture experience.
• Design and deliver scalable, highly available, performant, and resilient solutions.
• Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver accessible and polished mobile experiences.
• Prototype and iterate solutions using Swift, supporting multiple devices and making iOS SDK integration easier for customers.
• Improve reliability and safety of continuous delivery through test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to retrospectives, feedback, psychological safety, inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on iOS development experience.
• Good understanding of Apple design guidelines, mobile user experience principles, and best practices for intuitive and responsive interfaces.
• Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and back-end services.
• Strong experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• A portfolio of published apps on the App Store.
• Experience developing iOS SDKs.
• Experience with React Native and Flutter.
