iOS Trainee

Location: Kazakhstan; candidates from Almaty must attend the office during the training period, while participants from other cities in Kazakhstan can join online.

Salary: up to 270,000 KZT per month before taxes.

What you will do

• Complete a five-month, full-time iOS traineeship focused on practical mobile development.
• Build educational, test, and training projects that replicate work on commercial products.
• Use Apple's ecosystem and modern iOS development practices.
• Develop practical skills for joining commercial projects after successful completion of the program.
• Work with mentors, receive regular technical assessments, and follow an individual development path.

Requirements

• English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of Swift fundamentals and understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture and the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Git principles and experience with version control systems.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
• Logical and analytical thinking.
• Educational, pet, or test projects in a portfolio.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Understanding of memory management and the iOS application lifecycle.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Technical background.
• German proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.
• Strong learning ability, motivation for continuous growth, and good communication skills.
