Location: United States (Remote); must be based in the United States.

Salary: $50–$80 per hour.

What you will do

• Review and analyze U.S. legal documents, statutes, and case law to provide accurate, context-specific legal insights.
• Draft, edit, and evaluate legal arguments, memoranda, and pleadings with a focus on structure and sound legal reasoning.
• Perform Bluebook citation formatting and detailed cite-checking.
• Analyze hypothetical legal scenarios and provide reasoned assessments reflecting real-world legal practice.
• Provide written and verbal feedback on legal content, clarity, accuracy, and practical applicability.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers and technical teams and review legal writing samples to improve AI training datasets.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and have a strong understanding of U.S. legal systems and professional standards.
• Juris Doctor degree from a U.S. law school.
• Strong expertise in Bluebook citation formatting and advanced legal cite-checking.
• Experience drafting, editing, or reviewing complex legal documents and arguments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex legal issues clearly to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor degree from a T14 law school.
• Law review or legal journal editorial experience; mandatory for current law student applicants.
• Prior AI experience is not required.
