Release Manager (Enterprise Systems)

Location: Sevenum, Netherlands; hybrid setup with occasional travel to the office for anchor days.

What you will do

• Lead the evolution of the Enterprise Release Management process across Enterprise Systems.
• Establish standardized governance, release calendars, best practices, templates, and documentation.
• Coordinate complex cross-functional releases with business owners, team leads, ERP consultants, architects, project and delivery managers, QA teams, delivery teams, and external partners.
• Drive release readiness by managing dependencies, risks, approvals, implementation planning, and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Maintain transparency across stakeholders and improve release reliability, standardization, coordination, and future automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Release Management, IT Delivery, Service Management, or Project Management within complex Enterprise Systems environments.
• Experience coordinating releases across ERP platforms such as D365 F&O, AX, SAP, or similar.
• Understanding of cross-system dependency management without owning the technical deployment.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and structured release governance.
• Ability to align business and technology stakeholders around common release objectives.
• Ability to create structure, challenge existing ways of working, and build collaborative relationships that support successful production releases.
