User Experience (UX) Intern (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Hoofddorp, Netherlands; 2 days per week in the office and the remaining days remote.

Monthly allowance: €650, plus a public transport travel card for commuting to the office.

hirify.global develops digital solutions for animal health, including the Animana cloud-based veterinary practice management system used by veterinary practices across Europe and the UK.

What you will do

• Support user research and insights projects, including planning interviews, analyzing findings, and presenting recommendations.
• Create wireframes and prototypes using Figma or similar tools.
• Contribute to design system development and UI consistency across the cloud-based platform.
• Support usability testing, evaluation, and UX optimization for complex veterinary workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support teams, and the Product & Design team.

Requirements

• Student pursuing a degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of UX principles and design processes.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
• Curiosity about how design improves complex digital workflows.
• Attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn from feedback.
• Good communication skills and comfort collaborating across teams.
• Availability to start in January 2027 and work full-time, 40 hours per week, for 5–6 months.
• University approval is required to start the internship; non-European nationals also need an approved Nuffic agreement.
