Senior Consultant, Offensive Security (Unit 42)

Location: Remote, with the role listed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; travel may be required as needed.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests across network, web application, cloud, and mobile environments to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
• Deliver assessments using Palo Alto Networks Frontier AI Defense test harnesses and platforms with the latest frontier models.
• Develop custom scripts, tools, and methodologies to automate and enhance offensive security engagements and internal processes.
• Explain testing approaches and methodologies to technical and executive client audiences.
• Produce detailed reports covering test results, risks, and concrete remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients, support opportunity scoping, and develop infrastructure for offensive security research and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional information security experience focused on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Expertise with Metasploit, Burp Suite Pro, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, and Bloodhound.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or C++.
• Experience conducting penetration tests across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Nice to have

• Interest in LLM-driven offensive security.
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GWAPT, or GXPN.
• Experience with public speaking, publishing research, or contributing to the security community.
