Lead Design Operations Manager (Warhammer 40,000)

What you will do

• Improve studio operations and performance by establishing success measures, identifying opportunities, and implementing operational changes.
• Work with the Head of Studio and studio leadership team to solve complex problems and enable creative teams to focus on developing miniatures, books, and games.
• Own the studio cost plan, operational planning, and performance, ensuring resources are used effectively and commercial decisions are sound.
• Assess the commercial viability of future products and balance creative ambition with business needs.
• Shape organizational structure, support recruitment, employee development, and succession planning.
• Manage operational risks and the studio’s legal, health, and safety responsibilities.

Requirements

• Highly organized, commercially minded, and naturally curious about how things work.
• Financially astute with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with numbers.
• Proactive and passionate about developing people and strengthening the studio.
• Comfortable making important decisions, solving complex problems, and working in operational detail.
• Passionate about Warhammer 40,000 and creating science fantasy miniatures, games, and experiences.
• Curious enough to ask good questions, humble enough to listen, and courageous enough to improve how things work.
