Spirit Defense - Mid-Level Supply Chain Procurement Agent (Aerospace)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States. Onsite position. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.

Salary: $73,050–$112,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage supplier-related activities as an authorized company agent, including contracts, agreements, supplier expectations, and post-award activities.
• Research and evaluate prospective suppliers, develop requests for quotations and proposals, analyze responses, negotiate contracts, and issue awards.
• Build supplier relationships and interface with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels, forecasting, simulation, modeling, supplier performance, customer demand, and material assets to optimize supply chain planning.
• Coordinate program changes flowed down by the Prime or company, represent and support Integrated Product Teams, and manage change activities.
• Track affordability and trade studies, perform BOE and estimating tasks, support P&L activities, and make decisions in complex problem-solving situations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a supply chain role, preferably within aerospace or manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.

Nice to have

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance; clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of or experience with manufacturing and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with MRP systems, with preference for SAP experience.
